Agency & Fair Housing in MN
This course covers Agency Law and Fair Housing. It is designed to give real estate salespersons and brokers the basic understanding of the following:
Agency Law in Minnesota. This includes the historic evolution in Minnesota, agency terms, fiduciary duties, relationships in Minnesota, and contracts in Minnesota Agency.
Fair Housing Laws. This last section addresses the legal history, protected classes, and prohibited actions. Attendees will examine a Code of Ethics case study and complete an exercise that looks at the Fair Housing implications of two consumers’ real estate experiences.
This class is approved by the MN Commerce for 2.0 CE Credits.
